UNIFYING RHYTHMS MARCH 15th -April 25th APPALACHIAN ART CENTER

The Appalachian Arts Center, a part of Southwest Virginia Community College, located

in Wardell, Virginia will present an exhibition of baskets, pottery, and paintings titled,

Unifying Rhythms. The exhibition will open March 15 and continue through April 23,

a public artists’ reception Friday, March 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

 Unifying Rhythms is a collaborative show presenting the beautiful art of three acclaimed

artists from Asheville, NC. The show includes Matt Tommey, a basket-maker, Sarah

Wells Rolland, a potter, and Carol Bomer, a painter.

The Appalachian Arts Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12 noon until 5:30

PM daily. The Arts Center is located in the "Old Archie Helton Store" on Rt. 19; 2.5

miles south of the Claypool Hill intersection of Rt. 19 and 460. For more information,
